Tasso Timing Slider for LML 4T Geared.

Made of super lightweight high quality 304 Stainless steel which has superior strength.

On LML200, the timing slider will allow you to advance timing from the standard 0deg - 30deg.

So why fit the timing slider ? Quite simply, gain extra power from your engine !

Factory setting of the timing is quite retarded to lower emissions and easier starting but more importantly to allow the engine to run on low octane fuel as sold in India. India uses generally 91 RON. Here in Europe higher octane fuels are sold with 95 RON being the standard. Higher the octane number (ROM) the more compression the fuel can withstand. By advancing the timing increases the amount of fuel in the cylinder before sparking which increases compression and gives massive performance gains.

Fitting. Remove flywheel cover, unscrew pick up, fit timing slider to pickup with the single hole secured to the left hole of the pick up. You can select to simply 'GO MAX' and screw the slider, with pick fitted to its furthest position ( see picture below ) or to make adjustable you will need to tap/thread the upper middle pick to M5, remove 8mm from the lower LH peg to allow the slider to move from standard setting - max advance.
